return of the following lines to Lucilius for his Caution to
Batchellors, and the esteem he has of the ladies.

  Has shew'd he is bit:
  Sir Ass, braying betrays your long ears;
  You need not have told
  Your wife was a scold
  Nor, alas, discover'd your fears.
